To ensure the stable performance and accurate identification of RFID laundry tags throughout the entire lifecycle of the fabrics, these installation and sewing specifications are hereby established. All relevant parties (including textile suppliers, laundry facilities, and end users) shall comply with the following requirements.
I. Tag Selection Recommendations
1. The tag chip undergoes secure encryption protection to ensure that the tag chip cannot be maliciously manipulated by third parties sending commands to tamper with the EPC code, or sending kill commands to disable (render ineffective) the chip.
2. A laser-printed EPC code is added to the surface of the tag (as shown in the figure) to ensure that the EPC code is visible. This facilitates manual entry of the EPC into the traceability system to retrieve historical information about the tag chip in situations where the EPC code cannot be read.

II. Core Principles of RFID Sewing
1. Position Selection: The chip should be sewn at the edge of the fabric, away from fold lines and the central area.
2. Sewing Prohibitions:
· a. It is strictly prohibited for the sewing thread to pass directly through the center of the chip or the module area.
· b. It is strictly prohibited to sew the chip at corners or edges to prevent fabric shrinkage or curling, which could affect the product's appearance and the chip's functionality.
3. Fit: The tag should be attached flat and smooth against the fabric surface, avoiding wrinkles or suspension.
III. Sewing Methods (Schematic Diagrams)
Sewing the laundry tag within the fabric's hem allows the tag to be secured with stitching to prevent it from shifting.
Needle and thread may only pass through area ① of the laundry tag; stitching through area ② is not permitted.

This specification is the cornerstone for ensuring the successful application of the RFID system. Relevant operators are requested to strictly comply with it, and quality inspection personnel shall supervise its implementation.
